Focus and Scope

Al-Adalah: Jurnal Pengabdian Masyarakat is a peer-reviewed scientific journal published by the Institute for Research and Community Service (LPPM), Institut Agama Islam Darul Ulum (IAIDU) Kandangan. The journal serves as a scholarly platform for disseminating original community service activities based on research findings, the application of science, technology, arts, and innovation to improve community welfare, empowerment, and sustainable development.

The journal publishes original manuscripts that have not been published previously and are not under consideration by other journals. All submitted manuscripts undergo an initial editorial screening followed by a double-blind peer-review process.

The journal welcomes manuscripts in, but not limited to, the following areas:

  1. Community service in education.

  2. Community service in Islamic education.

  3. Religious community empowerment and religious moderation.

  4. Community economic development, Islamic economics, MSME development, and entrepreneurship.

  5. Islamic law, family law, and legal education for communities.

  6. Da'wah, communication, and social empowerment.

  7. Science, technology, and appropriate technology implementation for community development.

  8. Public health, sanitation, and environmental sustainability.

  9. Food security, agriculture, and rural community development.

  10. Digital transformation, digital literacy, and information technology-based community empowerment.

  11. Women, youth, children, and vulnerable community empowerment.

  12. Local wisdom, cultural preservation, and sustainable community development.

  13. Community partnership programs, assisted village development, and institutional capacity building.

  14. Other community service activities relevant to the application and dissemination of science, technology, and innovation.

The journal aims to become a reputable forum for disseminating best practices, innovative community engagement models, and impactful community service initiatives that contribute to local, national, and global sustainable development.
